Information about M/S Martin H

On November 22nd, 2012, MS Martin H was delivered from Cemre Marin Endustri in Altinova, Turkey, to its final destination at Seaworks AS in Harstad, Norway. The vessel is classified as a bulk carrier whose function is to facilitate excavation projects and unloading at sea. Seaworks AS is one of the first Norwegian shipowners to begin the process of renewing its fleet of bulk carriers, an important step towards a profitable and sustainable maritime market.

Martin H features an on-deck excavator, as well as a conveyor belt whose range extends an impressive 20 meters beyond the bow. Under the deck lies a powerful 739kW Wärtsilä engine, as well as two supporting Volvo Penta D16 engines. The total length of the ship is 111,6 meters.
